Vinyasa Flow Classes (we offer heated and non-heated, check the class title)

Welcome to our invigorating Vinyasa Flow class, where we’ll synchronize breath with movement to create a dynamic and fluid yoga practice. Vinyasa, which means “to place in a special way,” emphasizes the connection between breath and posture, guiding you through a series of seamlessly flowing sequences.

Class Focus: This class is designed to build strength, flexibility, and balance while cultivating a sense of mindfulness and presence on the mat. Each session will focus on integrating breath awareness with purposeful movements, allowing you to explore the mind-body connection deeply.

Class Structure:

  • Centering: We’ll begin the class with a brief centering exercise, bringing our attention to the present moment, leaving behind any distractions or tensions.
  • Warm-Up: We’ll gently warm up the body, focusing on gentle stretches and movements to prepare for more dynamic sequences ahead.
  • Vinyasa Flow Sequences: The heart of the class! We’ll flow through a series of creatively linked postures, transitioning from one to another with the rhythm of our breath. The sequences may vary from class to class, offering you a fresh experience each time.
  • Alignment and Modifications: Throughout the class, the instructor will guide you on proper alignment and offer modifications suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. It’s important to honor your body and its unique capabilities, so feel free to make adjustments as needed.
  • Peak Poses: We’ll work towards specific “peak” poses in each class, giving you the opportunity to challenge yourself and explore new asanas. The instructor will provide step-by-step instructions to safely approach these poses.
  • Cool Down: After the dynamic sequences, we’ll slow down the pace and move into a cooling and relaxing sequence to release any remaining tension in the body.
  • Final Relaxation: The class concludes with a well-deserved Savasana (corpse pose), allowing you to fully relax and integrate the benefits of your practice.
